Iowa Indiana Womens Basketball Game Score

**Hoosiers Fall to No. 14 Iowa, Despite Scalia's 25 Points** INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Despite a valiant effort, the Indiana Hoosiers (12-5) were defeated by the No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes (14-3) in a thrilling battle at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Thursday night before a crowd of 13,000. Iowa star Caitlin Clark led the way for the Hawkeyes, scoring a game-high 30 points. The dynamic guard hit a dramatic 3-pointer at the buzzer to cap off a dominant performance. Indiana received a strong offensive showing from Sara Scalia, who finished with 25 points. Mackenzie Holmes also had a solid outing, contributing 24 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks. However, the Hoosiers' defense struggled to contain Clark and the Iowa offense, which shot 50% from the field. Indiana, on the other hand, shot just 40% and was outrebounded by the Hawkeyes 37-30. Despite the setback, the Hoosiers showed resilience and fought hard throughout the game. Scalia's 25 points marked her fourth straight game with at least 20 points. Holmes' double-double was her eighth of the season. Indiana will look to bounce back when they travel to Northwestern on Sunday, January 15th.
