Spectacular example of B.C. Syrah, a classic. Plums, blackberries, ripe and cool, smoky minerality, warm herbal notes, cassis, mace, pepper and a back chorus of oak that’s very well-integrated. The tannins are substantial and very fine-grained; a long, savoury finish. Best 2025-2034.

This was the first B.C. Syrah I tasted back in the fall of 2000, and it made a lasting impression. I was impressed with the quality of this wine from the first vintage. I have retasted it three times since then, and it has never failed to impress.
